So, a massive TWO projects here (I know: ‘oh my god, she’s actually uploaded some pictures’).
First off the main project to do with the religion thing, had a sudden realisation when I woke up Wednesday morning with an image of an angel holding a hand grenade (no idea what I’d been dreaming about but there you go).
So here’s the ‘final’ thing, it was coloured but that was decided to be too much so it’ll either look like this or be very lightly coloured.

So yeah, I need to work on my ‘non-reference humans’ a bit, it’s not meant to look totally human but then the way I’ve done it makes it look like I wasn’t really trying to get an actual human. Still, that’s what life-drawing classes are for.
Next up we have a random thing I did in drawing: yes, drawing with feathers. My lovely feather collection.
Might do something with it to hand in involving that random book of people quotes I have, we’ll see.
That’s about it for now. Holidays soon so might stick up personal work I do over then.

Wow, I need to update this more often. Sorry.
So yes, the next project: a comment on the extremists of religion these days. How people twist the words of their supposed deity in order to incite hatred and fear, ultimately destroying the backbones of our current world.
So far I’ve done a couple of sketches with quotes from the Bible and Qur’an (they’re on their way in the next post when I get my scanner running again). I’ve come across some real thought provoking things from them, hopefully I can work with them.
